Speaker Submissions:
I grant IAEM permission to both livestream via the internet and record my presentation. These audio and video recordings may be used in educational and documentary materials such as member education, public service announcements, association promotion and marketing, or grant applications. IAEM owns these proceedings and recordings and may offer them for sale. Recordings may be made available to speakers upon request. The materials may be included in the proceedings of the conference. IAEM agrees to pay all costs and assume all responsibilities for producing the livestream and recordings.
I agree that only the speaker listed in this online submission may speak at the IAEM 67th Annual Conference and that any substitution is not permitted.
I agree that the topic of the presentation I submitted will be the one I will present at the IAEM 67th Annual Conference if my session is accepted. Any topic changes will not be permitted unless approved by the IAEM Conference Committee Chair.
I agree to submit by October 18, 2019 at 5:00PM ET the following:
  • An electronic copy of my final slide presentation along with a sample of any session handouts or reference materials, if being used to supplement my Talk.
  • Final video of Talk
  • I understand that failure to submit these items can result in my removal from the program.
I agree to attend the mandatory practice session on Monday, November 18, 2019 at 7:30pm ET, location to be determined at a later date.
I agree to make any recommended changes to my final presentation and Talk as requested by the Conference Committee. Failure to adjust the final presentation and Talk to the standards of the Conference Committee may result in the loss of the speaker slot.
I agree that IAEM may use my name, likeness, photograph, and biographical data to support the promotion of IAEM Annual Conferences.
I agree that during my Talk, I will not engage in any type of promotional marketing or selling of any product or service, and I will not disparage IAEM in any way.
I represent and warrant to IAEM that my presentation does not violate any proprietary or personal rights of others (including any copyright, trademark and/or privacy rights), is factually accurate, and contains nothing defamatory or otherwise unlawful. I have obtained all necessary permissions or licenses from any individuals or organizations whose material is included or used in my presentation.
I grant to IAEM a royalty-free license to use, reproduce and distribute my talk (including all handouts and slide presentations) in any way, with appropriate attribution to me. I understand that this license dos not change the fact that I retain copyright ownership of my presentation, and does not prohibit me either from using my presentation in any way or from allowing others to use it.
I agree that if I use any logos provided to me by IAEM for any slide presentation and/or handouts in connection with the program, I will not use these logos in any way except in connection with the IAEM 2019 conference program.
